Apple Computer, founded in the late Seventies by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak and currently headquartered in Cuppertino, CA, has always been on the cutting edge of technology, emphasizing innovation and user-friendliness. As a result of their high-quality product lines, they have amassed a very loyal following worldwide. Apple computers using their own operating system, often referred to as Mac OS. This operating system is known for its stability and security.

Among the cheap Apple computers is the iPad first generation, which comes with the iOS operating system, a dual-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, and 16 GB of hard drive storage. The second and third generation iPads come with better features and power.

The budget laptop line from Apple, known as the Macbook Air, has significantly dropped in price since first being marketed in 2008. They have as much power and storage as their budget personal computer counterparts, though are generally much pricier given the brand. The cheapest of these thin yet high-performing laptops now sell for under $900 at certain retailers.
