Dell computers are manufactured by Dell Inc., a company founded by business magnate Michael Dell and headquartered in Round Rock, TX. Dell computers are renowned for their quality and reliability, and thus are commonly used in businesses and schools. The company produces a wide range of products, such as desktops, laptops and tablets. One of the advantages of buying directly from Dell is that a customer can get a customized computer to meet their needs.
Among Dell’s budget computers are its line of Inspiron 3000 Series laptops, such as the Inspiron i3552. This 15.6″ laptop now sells at some retail outlets for under $300 and packs a 2.16 GHz Celeron N3050 processor, 4 GB of RAM, with 500 GB hard drive storage.
Similarly, the Dell Venue tablet line is now selling under $300 with some models under $200 at select retail shops. This touchscreen tablet comes with either Windows or an Android operating system, an Intel Atom processor (up to 2 GHz or higher), and 32 GB or greater of internal storage.
As time passes, Dell will be sure to roll out other cheap computers to boost its presence in this very competitive market.
